We are excited to welcome students back to school next week and want to take this opportunity to offer tips and resources to help our families plan and prepare for the upcoming school year.
August 6 2020 Community Message
The Weld RE-4 School District Board of Education met on August 5, 2020 to get an update from Superintendent Dan Seegmiller on plans for the start of the school year. The district’s recommendation was to continue with its plan to open on August 17 and August 18 with elementary students in a modified traditional schedule and with secondary students in a hybrid model.
First Day of School Changed August 17/18
New guidelines released last week by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Colorado Department of Education (CDE), and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), have required us to rapidly revisit and revise our plans for the start of the 2020-2021 school year.
